We are honored to have this majestic manor on the railroad line in the Balsam Community available for our ceremonial weekend. We look forward to enjoying the autumn leaves and full moon from this historic hotel, located just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The Historic Herren House is a grand old manor, seated in the heart of downtown Waynesville. They also have rooms alotted for the Williams Wedding Party -- Tell them what you're in town for!
The Oak Park Inn is also about 10 miles from the Inn and located on Waynesville's Main Street, where we first met.
(There is a proper pub within stumbling distance, just up from the Herren House, in Waynesville's quaint shopping district.)
For a more traditional hotel experience, the Waynesville Econo Lodge is 10 minutes up the highway.

Copper Musser
We are excited to welcome Copper Musser, who will hold space for grounding during the ceremony, channeling unconditional love and light with the excited couple and accepting guests. She has a background in spiritual readings and coaching, with a special energy and passion about her, making her the perfect priestess for our ceremony. Copper also shares in the excitement of officiating her first wedding. As a close friend and light worker with roots in these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, we entrust Copper to help the ceremony flow seamlessly into our future lives together.

THE BRIDAL WALK
Kent Faller sings Christy Dignam
As Kelly walks down the old wooden hallway from the Bridal Suite into the Ballroom, Chris' long-time friend and musical cohort, Kent Faller, will sing a song from Chris' vocal mentor and dear friend, Christy Dignam. Christy passed away in June, synchronous with Chris' asking Kent to be a part of our ceremony. Before the third text of that conversation, the song choice was divinely chosen.
"Song For Kathryn" was written for Christy's wife, whom Chris & Kent both first met in 1990. Poignantly enough, many years later Kent would name his daughter after Kathryn. We are honored to have Kent's vocal spirit accompany Kelly down the long hallway to Ballroom's aisle to join with Chris and our awaiting family of love.

THE RINGS
The Story
The rings that were divinely chosen for this ceremony were both worn by Chris' parents. We are blessed to include them on this special day. Kelly's ring is a beautiful Tiffany diamond band that is very special to Joan and lovingly passed down as a cherished family heirloom. Chris will be proudly inheriting his father's wedding band which is engraved inside with Earle & Joan's nicknames and original wedding date, preserved since his death in 1994.
